As you all know, I suffer from really bad headaches/migraines, and so do some friends of mine. Hearing someone say she doesnt look sick makes me ANGRY. We are frustrated as it is due to the lack of improvement after everything we have tried. Unless you have felt the pain I feel, unless you have spent days on a couch in pain, with ice under your head, you dont know what we go through. Just because we dont look sick, that doesnt mean we are not in pain. We learn to live with it 24/7..so please, dont judge us or talk about us in ways that are hurtful. We deal with so much already. Compassion and empathy is what we need, if you cant offer either one of them, at least dont make things worse for us with hurtful words.
