As you may have heard, Fire Mountain is adding an exciting new program element to our camp… a Zip Line starting at a 65’ tower near Camus Lodge and running over 2,000’ over water to Bjorn’s Island. Once you land at Bjorn’s Island you walk across a 170’ suspension bridge back to the east shore of Lake Challenge. You have an opportunity either as an individual or as a Unit to “Buy A Stair” of our new Zip Line Tower. Here is what you receive when you “Buy A Stair” for just $250: *A plaque with your name and step number will be attached to the stair of your choice on a first come first serve basis (see spreadsheet for available stairs). *An invitation to attend the Dedication/Celebration of the completed Zip Line and C.O.P.E. Course on June 21st. This includes a BBQ lunch. *Participation in a raffle for your chance to be the first official Zip Line rider. This is exclusively available to the 85 people who “buy” stairs, landings, or poles. *Ability to be one of the first 85 people to ride the Zip Line at the Dedication/Celebration. *The satisfaction of knowing you are helping Fire Mountain take one big “step” closer to being a world class Boy Scout camp.
