At first...i was into bein #1 on the reverbnation charts because it felt nice that i was #3. That let me know that someone actually liked my music. But everyday that goes by, i become more in tune with what i truly want and its not being #1 at all. Its making music that make sense and that people can relate to. Theres alot of songs out about money, gettin girls, fancy cars, and so on. I dont have a problem with that at all but not everyone can relate to havin alot of money, havin alot of females, or havin fancy cars or havin a car period. Rappin about what u do (sellin bricks, shootin ppl) i dont have a problem with that but some rappers rap about it not cuz its their way of life (possibly neva was) but because it sounds good to everyone else. Im not famous and not rushin to be but i have a question to ask all of the artists (rappers, singers, lyricists, etc).....when u write and make music...what and who do u REALLY do it for?
