At least 14 terrorists killed in Heseke and Kobani Kobanî– The People’s Defense Units (YPG) along with the Womens Defense Units (YPJ)continued to conduct operations against Daesh (ISIS) terrorists in Kobanî, January 11, on the 119th day of resistance. Last night numerous short-term clashes between our units of YPG/YPJ and the terrorists were experienced in Kobanî. In the fight near Kobanî’s Water Supply, 2 members of terrorist forces were confirmed killed while 6 other terrorists were killed during the fight that took place near the Mekteba Resh. Members of the ‘International Coalition against ISIS’ who are supporting our forces of YPG/YPJ, conducted special air strikes last night in Kobanî. A large number of terrorist forces are killed as a result of the air strikes, yet the precise numbers were not immediately confirmed. Hasekê – Our units of YPG/YPJ in a joint operation last night conducted an operation against the terrorist groups of Daesh near the village of Tiwêna in Hasekê countryside. In this operation, terrorists’ positions were heavily targeted by our forces, and as a result, 4 terrorist forces were confirmed killed. Terrorist elements of Daesh yesterday attempted to carry out a suicide attack with a car-bomb in Hasekê. Our forces immediately intervened, targeted the vehicle, and managed to detonate the VBIED before reaching our forces’ position.
