At the age of 14, Florence M. began attending dance halls and fell in love with dancing. Currently 91 years old, her love and passion for dancing is as strong as ever. Her Wish was to experience a social ballroom dance event to once again glide across the dance floor. Growing up, Florence would go dancing almost every night. She enjoyed to jitterbug, swing dance and waltz. A natural and beautiful dancer, all the boys loved to dance with her - she even met her husband at a dance hall. The couple danced together for five years, until his unexpected passing. Although his passing impacted her greatly, Florence still found joy in dancing. With the assistance of Brookdale Senior Living, Wish of a Lifetime sent Florence to a ballroom dance event! She was able to dance the night away with her family, friends and other seniors on October 5, 2014. A special thank you to Marys Creations Photography!
