Attention I have climbed upon my soap box, the views that follow - TopicsExpress

Attention I have climbed upon my soap box, the views that follow are mine and only mine not the opinions of any group, club or organization I belong to, you may share, disagree (respectfully) agree, un-friend me or disregard the choice is yours. I voted today, I hope you did as well. I voted NOT because there was a candidate that I felt deserved it but because it is my right and duty to do so. There were more I didnt want to win than did. What happened to integrity? I am SICK I say SICK SICK SICK of the mudslinging. The only person to walk this earth with no sins was Jesus, when you are pointing at someone there are 3 fingers pointing back at YOU! (Made you like didnt I, ok take a moment and check it out.) How many BILLIONS of dollars were spent across the Nation on advertising??? How many children across the nation go to bed hungry? How many fliers were mailed out?? How many Veterans are homeless??? How many trips to shake hands were made? How many empty food pantries are there??? I say instead of wasting money on TV ads, trips, phone calls and fliers, you want my vote do something constructive with that money, fill food pantries, pay the utilities for the homeless shelters, sponsor programs that send food home with underprivileged children so the whole family eats. Build shelters just for Veterans that meet their special needs. Fix up a school that is falling apart do to education cut backs. I dont think there is one part of this nation that doesnt have some sort of a need that could be filled with all that campaign money. I am sure the media would come up with a way to document and broadcast these things, you want my vote stop running your opponent into the ground you arent so innocent do something constructive for your constituents all that money wasted could have done so much for so many. Off my rant please return to your regularly scheduled activities.
