Audrey Hepburn was born on this date in 1929. She was only 63 when she died in January of 1993. Here is Edith Head talking about Hepburns screen tests and wardrobe tests for her film Roman Holiday for which she won the Academy Award for Best Actress in the same year she won the Tony for Best Actress for Ondine. She was only 25 at the time. I think the only other two actresses to win both those awards in the same year were Shirley Booth and Ellen Burstyn.
