August 22nd – First a disclaimer: I’ve never watched “Duck Dynasty.” But after doing a little youtube research, I’m going to start! “Duck Dynasty” is the antithesis of the PC drivel that dominates TV. A rare show where traditional values are celebrated rather than mocked. And a show where the men are men and the women are women. Duck Commander, the family’s multi-million dollar business was built from scratch. Patriarch Phil Robertson and CEO son Willie have graduate degrees, while looking like the second coming of ZZ Top. Finally, this joyful & loving family are unabashed Christians ending each episode in prayer. Phil Robertson: “Our Founding Fathers started this country and built it on God and His Word, and this country sure would be a better place to live and raise our children if we still followed their ideals and beliefs.” Hear hear! But what must really shock the Hollywood libs is that the show’s ratings are through the roof! “Duck Dynasty” is proof that conservatives can indeed compete in the culture war. We just need more soldiers with the guts to join the battle! P
