BEFORE POSTING PLEASE READ BELOW: NO LOMBOK CHILD SHOULD DIE HUNGARY OR IN PAIN - $1 PER DAY FOR FORGOTTEN TERMINALLY ILL CHILDREN Welcome FLC Child Guardians :) The Forgotten Lombok Children is a very urgent pioneering cause which is only months old and is growing into a dilemma in how to help what looks like hundreds of terminally ill and very sick forgotten Lombok children, many who are in pain and never seen doctors and are blocked from the Government Hospital System for many reasons such as no birth certificates or parents. This project is running on the smell of an oily rag & presently has only a $50 a week funding, we also finally have donation systems in place for those who want to donate. endri.org/donate.html THERE IS SO MUCH INFORMATION TO TELL YOU you before you let your head go racing off into a problem solving state, or with all the best intentions book a plane ticket to Lombok to do a ‘Florence Nightingale Visit to all these sick children who see a white person as a miracle cure to their cancer - and leave pencils & clothes. The villagers have a name for the emotional pain this activity causes and I have been called it also ‘Liars who Dream Big’ The second most important bit of information is this: The numbers of children that need urgent help are too big & together with the high medical cost are scaring away Indonesia’s biggest & wealthiest foundations. Many foundations are Bali based and won’t stretch out to Lombok although some of our FLC children can be connected to certain Foundations such as Blind children with cataracts, cleft pallet children etc etc INDONESIA MUST HELP INDONESIA! There is only one sustainable solution, there is no other option. The Indonesian government together with the hospitals has the challenge in resolving the bottle necks that are preventing axis of these FLC children to medical help. It is so important that Endri & other very special Lombok Indonesian people spark and drive this project from the frontline, while our task is more from the BACK LINE in gently empowering the frontline team and supplying resources, funding, experience, skills & connections that they may need. OUR ACTION PLAN: NO LOMBOK CHILD SHOULD DIE HUNGRY OR IN PAIN - 1. A FORGOTTEN CHILD SEARCH TEAM: As mentioned, even collectively no foundations have got the funding or resources to tackle the size of this problem and Lombok has very few trustworthy or established foundations. The solution lies collectively with the big hospitals and Local & Central Authorities & Governments. The most important way to help this situation is to find & correctly document as many children as we can as soon as we can. We already have almost 100 cases and with this information we can approach the right people in the right manner - already we have connections with some high level people and they are asking for this information so they can act.. We already The children seem to be hidden, many in shame in the remotest poorest villages & offshore small islands. We seek a sponsor/s of around $250 so we can get a team of 3 people out their on motor bikes. 2. ENDRI’S MONTHLY FOOD AID & MEDICINE PROGRAM: Almost all of the children are hungry and under nourished. This is something we can fix with very little money & in doing so lift the stress & allow mothers more time to look after their children. For 25 cents we can supply gas for cooking removing hours per week in cooking over an un healthy fire, live chickens, and so much especially when we have locals like Endri doing the buying from suppliers who support us. As Endri is out there he can also document and importantly offers strength & hope in a sensible way. 3. CONNECTING & COORDINATING THE CHILDREN TO HELP: This is a huge job and easier said than done. We are presently approaching a very experienced Indonesian Lady to take on this challenge and will need around $50 per week to fund her. In time we will all also be able to connect with her and write applications to charities for child medical support. It is important to remember we are only connectors & suppliers of food etc we connect A to B and do not and cannot take on any medical responsibility as we are not qualified to do so and cannot be liable also. EASY WAYS TO HELP - Grow this Network - invite anybody your caring friends to join this group - Share posts - people who have the desire & DNA to do humanitarian good is rare & we are usually geographically scattered, face book works in an amazing way to glue us as one, amazingly it can really empower non profit projects and un cannily connect resources to projects. So share if you care :) - Sponsor a child $1 per day for a year, please only if you are in a position to afford this. - Help find us a business sponsor so we can get a Forgotten Child search team into action. We need about $250 per week for about 6 months which would get three people on motor bikes into action. Don’t post in a way that may shame local hospitals - the solution is WISH LIST ITEMS: - Old mobile phones that can do face book - face book is free and these devices allow doctors - foundations - you to communicate in real time with these people. - Clothes, small clothes for children, remember these kids have nothing so small girlie toys, toiletries but also things for parents. - Old Laptops are very precious if you come across any. THE BLIND ORPHANAGE & A SECOND: OUR HUNGRY BUT HAPPY BLIND ORPHANS: We have 30 hungry but happy blind orphans and we have a strong team of doers doing some great work here. For the children’s sakes everything is importantly hinged on working and building relationships in a positive way with Government. We have been contacted by concerned officials worried our posts ‘Shame them’ When told by Endri that it is Lombok local people simply doing a food program with some financial help from caring western people authorities are relaxed & very impressed. For those who may have thoughts of opening this story up to western media we will very likely do more harm than good. It is all about the children. Also if your concern is that we are not taxable foundation simply donate less. Clothing etc is prioritised & given in a one off way to children who have totally lost hope. We are just setting up our transport arrangements to Lombok. Also the clothes left in the wrong places will be plundered so we are taking this very seriously.
