BELOVED, NO MATTER WHAT YOU MAY BE GOING THROUGH; DO NOT GO BACK - TopicsExpress

BELOVED, NO MATTER WHAT YOU MAY BE GOING THROUGH; DO NOT GO BACK TO EGYPT OR TAKE A GLANCE BACK AT SODOM! Beloved, if you’ve been saved (born-again) more than a day, you will quickly realize that the Christian Life is not a bed of Roses. Unfortunately, the devil does not roll out a Red-Carpet for us to walk effortless to our Promised Destinies. For although we are not of this World but we still have to sourjourn or pass through the dessert or difficult terrains of this World to make it to the Promised Land. I am trying to say that as Christians we all have to battle our way through the Enemy territories of various kinds including the Amalekites, Jebusites, not to talk of the Canaanites all determined to stop us from reaching the Promised Land (Destinies)! And as a result, you may be tired, wounded, or even discouraged after so many battles from Without and sometimes even from Within. And You’re beginning to wonder if this Trip to Canaan is worth all the Troubles and may be entertaining the thoughts of going back to Egypt or your former Lifestyle in the World as you knew it! Perhaps the Difficult Trials and Challenges, you’re facing are beginning to cause you to regret leaving your miserable life in Egypt and for some of you it was the rough land of Sodom. My dearly Beloved, God doesn’t want you to be like the Israelites who forgot what Egypt was really like and would often get the itch to go back each time they encountered hardships on their way to the Promised Land! By the way, what in the world is there in Egypt to look back to? Don’t forget that Egypt caused you to be in Bondage to Sin, Sickness, and Satan’s Yoke; who yoked you with a heavy Burden, and dribbled you any how he chose. Simply said, life in the world caused you to wallow in the pain and suffering that a life of Sin breeds, such as Sicknesses, Diseases, Headaches, and Heartaches that result from such a life, and the addictive enslavement or bondage of Satan the sin slave Master! If you forget how horribly Pharaoh AKA (also known as) the devil enslaved you, or how hard the Ruffians of Sodom and Gomorrah roughed you up, you might be tempted to return to Sodom or Egypt when things get really tough in your wilderness experience. How true this temptation proved itself, over and over again for the Israelites, for while they were experiencing a myriad of Trials and Challenges in the Wilderness they complained and wanted to return to Egypt because things got really tough. Looking back is dangerous and costly as was the case with Lots wife whose journey (Life) abruptly ended with just a glance back to what used to be! Beloved, I am not in any way trying to belittle the difficult Terrain of your Journey through the Desert, for it is one that I am very familiar with. After a recent Major Life Trial which the enemy milked for all that it was worth, Someone asked me if in the light of ALL that I have been through in my 39 year Journey to my Promised Land that started when I gave my Life to Christ in my 1st year in Junior High School; if I am still going to serve God since He has not been “Fair”. This Person forgot that it is ONLY the hand of Jehovah that has sustained me. Beloved, as Apostle Paul clearly said, I do not consider myself yet to have made it to my Promised Destiny yet; But one thing I do, forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the Prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus-Philippians 3:13-14! Beloved, there is no doubt that I have gone through a lot in my Life, but not once have I considered going back on my Faith; not because of me but because of my Love for Christ and my Faith in His GRACE that I know is more than sufficient to see me through. That same GRACE is available to you! And yes I want every demon to hear me clearly, I will not step these Anointed Feet of mine back to the soiled land of Egypt no matter what you bombard me with, for I am fully Content with JEHOVAH, and very determined to make it to my Promised Land(Destiny)! There is no doubt that the Wilderness Experience is a Dry and difficult Life, full of Snakes, Scorpions, and wild Lions that are ready to bite, sting, or eat us up if given a chance. And if you fail to keep the Vision of the Promise Land alive, satan the enemy of your Destiny may want to entice you with the way it was, or used to be in your former life. But you must NEVER forget that the wild life of Sodom (Clubs, Carousing,) or the Cucumbers of Egypt is nothing compared to the Milk and Honey that is awaiting you in your Promised land (Destiny) of Canaan. Yes Beloved, I know of a fact, that this journey could be quite challenging, but as Apostle Paul admonished us, in Romans 8:18, our present Sufferings are not worth comparing with the Glory that is awaiting us in our Promised Destinies. And as He said, Beloved, NEVER forget that Egypt enslaved your Joy, Peace, Health, Family, Freedom, Well-being, Dreams, Visions, Life, and Destiny. Therefore, as difficult as your present challenges are it is unwise to resort back to your Egypt years because of this temporary present challenging situation that is confronting you! For Egypt is not an option no matter what you may be going through. Yes my Beloved, picking back up the sinful Life that you dropped when you gave your Life to JESUS is not an Option that you can live with. You must keep moving forward by faith until you reach your Canaan land. Hold on to Gods unchanging Love, for I see the glimmer of the Lights of Canaan…Yes, your Promised Destiny is just around the Corner…Keep Moving Forward, don’t you dare look back, for You’re almost there.
