**************BEWARE OF WELLS FARGO************* Wells Fargo somehow set up my checking account as someone else’s overdraft protection so any time this person overdrafts it comes out of MY account. There has been $980.01 taken out. Wells Fargo not only told me I can do nothing to stop it, the other person has to take it off their account but that if I want my $$ back I would need to contact them and get them to repay me!! I asked how I could sign up for the awesome deal that this guy got, his overdrafts, I pay for it. They then tell me that it is illegal to have a checking as overdraft protection. BUT they can do nothing about mine!! Seriously????? Anyone got any advice of where to go from here?? If I close account they said I will for sure not get money back!!!
