BEYOND THE RHYTHM OF THE PAST: Finally 2014 is on the history books, 2015 remains more bleak than ever for Somalia, with a road map of challenges and uncertainty, from reconciliation to peace building, from institution building to infrastructure development, and from provisional system to full democratic system of Governance. Government by definition is people, resource, and land. People are the main principles of creating the means to sustain peace and stability, people are the core functional entity to pave the way for future generation to prosper. Enough is enough, it is time to stop party or affiliation bickering and look forward, the society must come together, unite, and address constructively issues; solution to the challenges ahead must come from the people not from foreign forces. Now, Mr. President, 2014 has passed with multiple mistakes, corruption, gridlock and incompetency. You have 2015 to plant the seeds of the Prov. Constitution and prove Executive competency. Please don’t live with the past but learn from it, leadership is about vision and goals and providing new and fresh rhythm for the future through the rule of law, justice, freedom, transparency, accountability and participation. Remember history is on your side, but time is not, achieving this milestone is difficult and daunting, but with the right mechanism, intellect, and framework, Somalia once again, will stand tall! Wish you a gracious and productive 2015!
