BREAKING, EMT SOURCE IN SYRACRUSE, NY INVESTIGATING DEATH OF 32 year old who was recently in WEST AFRICA! (forum post, NO CONFIRMING MEDIA, cause, you know...its malaria in the media...at least until after the election ~ BUT DO take with discernment!) orig post: Cannot confirm yet, but a EMT source in Syracuse, NY said to of arrived at a home of a 32 year old found doa. After investigating the suspicious death, they learned he recently was in W. Africa. Hopefully a news source will post soon that can be linked. update!: I just got back home, and we called our EMT friend, his WORDS EXACTLY AS TOLD TO US. EMT said that special unit was dispatched to go into the home of the decease. He said he stood at the door, but never went inside due to the fact he did have recent Africa travel they immediately called a special unit in full hazmat gear. He said the person had vomited profusely with the runs to. The person had been dead approx about 24 hrs before being found by relative. The CDC and Homeland Security had EVERYONE sign forms to not disclose information pending results. So basically, yeah they believe he died of EBOLA, but would not let the NORMAL EMT in, He said that the home is being watched without any caution tape as to not start a panic. I asked the neighborhood, and he said he could not give it to us, as ONLY few EMT and supervisors know of this, and he could lose his job.
