Gen Gordon Buay, the spokesperson of the leadership council of South Sudan Liberation Movement informed the press that “Riek Machar crossed the border to Ethiopia but was advised on Monday to leave Ethiopian territory.” Sources in the Uganda army say Machar’s forces came under heavy gunfire on land with SPLA using heavy artillery to shell the rebel bases during the weekend
