BREAKING NEWS: EKSU STUDENTS TO BE HAPPY SOONEST Meeting with the Ekiti State Deputy Governor today: Students to smile soon! At the meeting between Comrade Deji Oso and the Deputy Governor today. It was emphasized by the Deputy Governor that the Governor Dr. Peter Ayodele Fayose holds students in high esteem as he has resolved to make students an integral aspect of his Government. A brief of the resolutions reached are as below: - School fees Reduction in EKSU is possible and this Government shall reduce appropriately. - No going back on the election of both the SUG and PTSA; Transition or Caretaker Committee is an aberration, hence, it is unacceptable. - Subvention to the University to be increased for the smooth running of the Institution. - The Government has recognized the Office of the Deputy Senate President (Segun Famuyibo) and his demands are already being looked into including the possible instalmental payment of the tuition fees. - and cases on other Tertiary Institutions in Ekiti shall also be looked into in order to make these institutions habitable for learning and academic excellence
