BRIDE OF CHUCKY: Some random movie trivia! 1: In the opening scene Michael and Jasons masks, Leatherfaces chain saw, and Freddy Kruegers glove are visible. 2: In the evidence room we see: several dolls from the puppet master series and the crate from creepshow. 3: There is a character in the film named Damien Baylock. In The Omen, the satanic child is called Damien, while his evil nanny is called Mrs. Baylock. 4: The date on Tiffanys newspaper clippings at the beginning of the movie and the date of death on Charles Lee Rays tombstone is 9 November 1988, the release date of the first Childs Play movie. 5: A certain Bride of Chucky promotional poster is a parody of one of the Scream 2 (1997) posters. 6: When John Ritters character is killed, his face looks like Pinhead from Hellraiser (1987). Chucky exclaims Why Does That Look So Familiar? 7: When Chucky decides to kill Chief Kincaid, he first picks up a ball-peen hammer, only to put it down when Tiffany remarks, Predictable. In the original Childs Play (1988), Chucky kills his first victim by hitting her in the head with a ball-peen hammer and sending her flying out a window. 8: According to the DVDs director commentary, Chucky was originally supposed to say to Chief Warren (John Ritter), Sorry, Jack, but threes a crowd, after killing him. This joke refers to the fact that Ritter also starred as Jack in the hit TV sitcom Threes Company (1977). But at the last minute, the director deleted that out of the script because he found it too corny.
