BRRRR!!!! It’s COLD out there! Our thanks to Alexandra for sharing this update on her little colony! A month ago, Alexandra TNR’d a mom, a dad, and 3 6-month old babies living in her backyard. She came to the CCC TNR class, followed steps ABC and D – and here is a picture of them a month later :) Alexandra and her husband have created a kitty paradise, with a long covered shed and tables for food/water, hiding spots, and a heated cat house! There is a heat lamp as well as straw bedding, and 5 happy co-habitating cats! (and yes we asked about the heat lamp/fire danger, it is all done safely :) ) Can you think of anything that can make you feel better on these 15 degree nights, than thinking of free roaming cats snuggled up all warm and toasty? Spay/neutered, vaccinated, well fed and sheltered – this is what we want to see in every back yard :) Thank you again Alexandra for being a wonderful example of what each of us can do – and thank you for sharing the happy update!
