Back from the first meeting of the Silverstone Marshals Cycling Team, taking part in The Silverstone Cycling Grand Prix in September. Great to meet fellow team members and to hear we have all the support staff on board; mechanics, masseuse (RAF personnel), sleeping quarters, warm up bikes, fitness trainer (pro-triathlete), spokes person, and finally promo team including photographers. Next team meeting in July with fitness tests and first round of promo events. All very professional and quite nerve racking - hope I am up to this!
