Back in 1946 I was working as a cargo checker on Adak Island in the Aleutians , decided it was to cold so asked for a transfer to one of the Armys Cargo ships , FS238, problem was it had a wooden hull and round so it rolled all the time, made one trip with Graves registrations picking up soldiers bodies left behind from ww2, one trip was enough and I went back to the docks. This is for you that didnt know the army had its own Navy , had tug boats, troop ships among many others , all part of the Transportation Corp my co. 36th T.C Company
