First, an American policeman (a white man) shoots dead an unarmed - TopicsExpress

First, an American policeman (a white man) shoots dead an unarmed black teenager at point blank range. Next, a team of white police officers overpower and choke a black man to death. In all these two instances, the Justice department of America has found nothing wrong with the conduct of the white police officers and as a result, has not seen the need to press any charges against the homicidal white policemen. I´m a lawyer and i do not find any justification for refusing to press charges. One then wonders where the future of Americas justice system is headed. Despite all the show of plurality of cultures over there, recent happenings in that country has shown that there still is a deep seated and institutionalized regime of racism in American societies.
