Band Parents, The booster nominating committee met last night and worked on the process of filling our various booster positions for next year. While most positions had a volunteer, 3 positions remain vacant and desperately need to be filled. The positions are as follows: -Meal Coordinator: Coordinates meals and organizes volunteers for band camp, competition day meals, and the SEHS game. -Special Events: Works with the directors to plan Jazz Nite and the Band Banquet. Also works with the Coastal Classic chair to provide the hospitality room for the event. -Fundraising: Works with the directors to plan, promote, and organize fundraisers throughout the year. None of these jobs mean you have to do it all by yourself, it simply means you are the head of that committee, you can tap any number of volunteers to help with you and we have many that are happy to help (especially when food is involved!) If youd be willing to serve in any of these areas or youd like more info, please let me know! Please consider joining our team of booster leadership, we have a few very dedicated senior parents leaving the organization, and we need some new folks to step in! Matt Leff, ECHS Bands
