Nothing at war made me feel more like a Roman Emperor than getting to stand with everyone who calls the lands of AEthelmearc home. Seeing my son authorize as a youth fighter and then fighting in the AEthelmearc Tag-team tournament with him as a team. Watching him and the other kids fills me with hope for the future. 2. Arranging for Empress Eatin to receive her Award of Arms scroll in court. We received our AOA’s together 14 years ago, and I know how much she has wanted that scroll. This was by far our most hectic and ambitious Pennsic, and it has the potential to end in breakdowns or overwhelm and crush us. But throughout our time I saw endless joy in my family and that made everything else better for me.
