Been a rough week, Mikayla will not take the bus home from school, because every day is a different driver. I have the other kids walking to and from school so that I can save money on gas, for the adoption, and all of a sudden she will not get on the bus coming home.., so i am having to pick her up every day, and her school is the furthest away...On a good note, today the mailman appeared at my door with a very heavy package. I had not ordered anything, so I was really puzzled.Checked to make sure the package was intended for my family. 3 weeks ago I sent a message to A Thread Of magic, inquiring how much a weighted blanket for my Autistic granddaughter would cost. You had to leave info about childs age, weight, address etc. and then you got an email saying someone would contact you soon. I opened this Priority mail package that came and it was a weighted blanket, beautifully made with Hello Kitty and Strawberries on it. i was really touched, and felt a sense of warmth that there are still kind, giving people in this world. thank you so much Touch of Magic. You have no idea how much your thoughtful gift means to us. It is a great thing when I can point out to the kids, that there are caring people in this crazy world we live in, and this is what I am trying to instill in them. A Great Example, thank you so much....
