Being kind is more important than winning a debate about rights and wrongs. We may be able to eloquently defend many positions, statements, and opinions. We may be skilled in interpreting Gods Word. But its all meaningless unless were actually helping guide men and women into Gods future. At the end of the day, the only thing that really matters is the salvation of individual sinners, each one deeply loved by God. Remember, its people, not ideas, who will inhabit the earth made new. Perhaps we need to sit back for a while and let this thought really sink in. How we treat one another can make a difference for eternity.
