Bengali recipe Haleem is a meat and lentil dish cooked over low heat. It is a thick lentil stew with meat, that is mixed with a blend of spices and fried in onions, and cooked over low heat until it becomes thick soup. I usually make Mauritian and Pakistani haleem, however this week I tried a recipe, for Bengali haleem from Bangladesh.. I changed it up a bit, It is quite similar to the Mauritian and Pakistani Haleem...
