Berkshire Hathaways acquisition of Duracell from Procter & Gamble - TopicsExpress

Berkshire Hathaways acquisition of Duracell from Procter & Gamble for $4.7 billion in stock is a GOOD deal. Duracell offers products that people continuously buy and has convinced many that it has a technological edge -- that means Warren Buffett gets yet another stable brand under his belt. On the other hand, Procter & Gamble is doing a lot of things right, including getting out of businesses theyve been doubting and going into higher-margin areas. Any weakness in Procter & Gamble as a result of this deal is a mistake. I expect Procter & Gamble to buy back stock and boost their dividend. Company looks good to me.
