Beware...this is my rant....Will you all stop with the damn is it Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays already? Do you really think Jesus would care? If you do...you havent spent much time reading about his life. Give me a break already. THIS is what you people worry about as Christians? THIS is why I dont go to church anymore...more evidence. Christianity is a living practice of kindness, compassion, outreach...love...not worrying about this nonsense. Now, this is the spirit of Christmas or NOT! While you are at it - make sure you argue over whether you should have guitar music or organs playing at service; okay? And, make certain you have some type of entertainment lined up for the children...because GOD FORBID they should actually LEARN something about how to behave in church for a full hour. Go bring a homeless person a coffee or a sandwich. Visit the elderly people in a convalescent home who have no one...or have your kids make them cards. I cannot tolerate this nonsense. You think GOD is worried about this crap? You want to find God? Really? Go visit a hospice and see the volunteers. Go and travel with the people who are treating Ebola patients in Africa. You want to live a Christian life? Well, newsflash..Christ didnt spend much time in temples and churches. He waked around and talked to people....convicts, women, poor people, outcasts, sick people...and BIG newsflash - he was JEWISH! RABBI...folks... Good God! Youre so concerned about giving him a birthday present? JUST BE NICE! He wouldnt care if you said HAPPY DAY to someone...the point would be that you stopped to even bother. UGH. Stupidity. Rant over.
