Bharathi still on school staff list! Sethupathy Higher Secondary School,Madurai!! This school is 125 years old. Bharathyaar has joined as Tamil teacher and worked brief period and gone to Pondicherry for hiding out. His name is still in Staff list.He was the highest salary paid teacher after Head Master. Inspiring of Tagores Nobel prize for his Geetanjali,Bharathy asked donations from local Zamindars and Wealthy people to submit his poems in Nobel Prize commitee...but the collected amount was not sufficient to go to Sweden. He missed the chance....!!! Sethupathi Higher Secondary School is a school situated in Madurai, India, in Northveli street. The school premises were once owned by Baskara Sethupathi (1889–1903), who also built the school.
