Bikes and Brew Train #TBT Trivia: 1st correct answer wins two tickets to ride the Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad Brew Train this Saturday (see below for details). This track bike being displayed at Carver Brewing Company was built by Ben Serotta for the 1984 L.A. Olympics. The bike is believed to have been raced on by Swiss World Champion Urs Freuler (who also won the points classification in the Giro DItalia that year). In Durango, 1984 was the first year Mountain Bikes were raced over Iron Horse weekend. The road race from Durango, Colorado to Silverton, Colorado was won by (Olympic Gold Medalist) Alexi Grewal in 2:10:34 and Denise Yamagishi in 2:42:12.
