Bill Clinton, Carroll Quigley, and the Conspiracy Theory of History: So Which is it Bill, Anglophile Oxford or Catholic (Jesuit) Georgetown University? Many students of conspiracies noted that Bill Clinton chose to laud his Georgetown University history professor Carroll Quigley during his inaugural speech. This seemed to be a clear signal to covert forces as Carroll Quigley is best know for his 1000+page Tragedy and Hope: A History of the World in Our Time which the John Birch Society and others have used to buttress their Conspiracy Theory of History. In fact, a careful reading of Quigley indicates that he does indeed believe a Anglophile/International Banker ruling class theory though he spurns the word conspiracy even while acknowledging the Round Table secret society formed by Cecil Rhodes and the extraordinary secrecy surrounding the International Banking establishment, especially as conducted by the infamous Montagu Norman in the 1930s! However, the Birch Society went on to claim that Carroll Quigley was a member of the CFR/Anglophile Establishment who spilled the beans because he thought secrecy was no longer necessary. A careful study will show this legend, encouraged by Quigley himself in several equivocating statements in his writings, to be completely false. Far from feeling at home during his scholarly stints around Pratt House (the CFR) he, as an Irish Catholic felt deeply alienated from the WASP, Jewish, anti-Catholic intellectual elitists! In fact, Carroll Quigleys mentor at Jesuit Georgetown was Jesuit Father Walsh a Vatican insider and inspirer of Joe McCarthy (though he lost control of primitive McCarthy, much to his embarrassment)! Quite clearly, however, far from being an Anglophile Establishment insider, Quigley was a Vatican-Jesuit insider pulling-off an extremely sophisticated expos of the ancient rival of the Catholic Church for power over Western Civilization.
