Billys knee joint is broken. Hes going to need surgery. They are doing blood work right now, and calling to schedule the surgeon. Probably Tuesday or Thursday of next week. They are giving him a pain killer dermal patch, and sending home oral meds too. Ill have to take him home, then go to Petsmart and the grocery store before I get ready to go to the meet and greet tonight. I hate to leave him, but I know my daughter will take very good care of him. (On the practical side, yes, I have some money saved, I can pay for all this. It will wipe out my savings, all the money I had set aside to buy new beds for the kids and new living room furniture. The kids will be disappointed, as am I. But Im just so grateful that I can pay for this. Billy is more important, and I am able to get him the care he needs.)
