Blessed Day Beloved Friends Saturday 29 November 2014 Here’s Todays Devotional from *The Special Seed* WHERE ARE YOU GOING IN LIFE? Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. Proverbs 29:18 (KJV) Is it just me, or have you ever stood before a mirror and wondered if you are headed in the right direction in life? Ever heard of Paralysis by Analysis? I cannot begin to count the number of times I could have pursued my dreams were it not for fear and/or a lack of set concrete goals. Life is such that if you dont know where you are going, its fast moving craft will take you to an undesired destination free of charge. One of life’s many tragedies is want of knowledge as to your destination, not least, know how to get there.Each one of us has a purpose to fulfill here on earth. A discovery of that purpose for which you are created is called VISION. We read in Jeremiah 1:5 that Jeremiah’s purpose was to be a prophet. You also have a purpose for being here on earth. Do you know what it is yet? It is important that you discover what it is, as it puts an end to our struggles. You will keep struggling when God’s plan for your life is unknown, because you are designed to perform best at that assignment you are created to perform, just as any product only functions optimally when used for what it was specifically designed for. Living other people’s ideas always has its pains. Ever head of the truism about making lemonade if life gives you lemons? You can refuse to live by what life offers you. Discovering your vision requires you to understand the manual from the manufacturer of life God Jehovah. Read and understand His word and consult Him in obedience, your vision shall be revealed. Thus done, the next step is to know how to accomplish the task you have been sent to perform: that is the pursuit of vision. Since God created you to perform a specific task, then He should be allowed to show you how to do it. The quality of how well you pursue your God given vision and fulfill destiny is a function of the quality of divine guidance you are exposed to. While vision shows you the Promised Land, Gods guidance is what enables you to arrive there. Feed on His word. This will develop you mentally. Your Spirituality is what guarantees your access to divine guidance, as God’s plan is mainly communicated to our spirits by His Spirit. The humbling talents that God has planted in you will stay dead until you start walking in Spirit, only then you will no longer lust for the desires of flesh which are the biggest traps in pursuing your destiny (Galatians 5:16-26). Just as admission into any school has its fundamental requirements, the fundamental requirement for divine guidance is meekness (Psalms 25: 9). God is not committed to leading every child of His; only His meek children. So until you are free from pride, you are not a candidate for divine Guidance. To avoid the calamity of an unknown destination, take a decision! The day to take a decision is NOW - yes, this moment! Decide, If you have not accepted Jesus Christ in your life, the first step is to accept Jesus Christ as your Savior, Salvation is the first qualification to your destiny and it comes free of charge, you might have accepted Jesus Christ in the past but you have not been living Christ-like. Make right with God today, rededicate your life to Jesus Christ and I guarantee you, you are in the direction to discover your vision. Nothing is impossible to them that believe. Action Step: Today make a committed decision to discover your vision in life, take your manual, the word of God, arm yourself, start digging in the bible for answers through prayer and you will discover the treasure of your life. Remember, only the Manufacturer of life (God) has directions.
