Book has stealing by the hero, who is constantly on the run from the law and somehow ends up marring a princess through deceit? Can, not against family values. Book has scene thats potentially a necrophiliac fantasy, given the prince didnt know the girl lying in state was alive? Can, not against family values. Books about an actual event where an egg was given to two male penguins to raise, and how it was successful? PULP! TOTALLY AGAINST FAMILY VALUES! Books about adoption and touches on love and inclusivity by featuring a diverse range of families? PULP! TOTALLY AGAINST FAMILY VALUE Book purports to be true history of the world and showing the truth behind exhibits and flawed evolutionary timelines, from the Creation(note the capital C) to recent discoveries? Can, not against family values. Can move to other sections? Cannot, children can roam. And roaming is not against family values. Supervision and checking what your children read is. But arent your beliefs just your beliefs? Can force others to have to follow the booklist you choose cos of your beliefs even if they dont share them? Can, cos not against family values.
