Brain candy.. Say your scrolling through your news feed and you saw a post from a respectable page that you like where normally only like minded persons discuss things. As you scroll through the comments of such an interesting topic you see a random person with a random name like Lin Fong from a country like Cambodia has commented on the post reading help my country being invaded people dead thanks for support. What do you do? What if Facebook is the only way someone could have gotten a distress message across and you have an opportunity to help save someone or thousands of someones? What if its a trick? Say theres nothing at all suspicious about the comment and the profile seemed legit and you attempted contact with no response. What do you do? Ignore it? What if the only way to find out if this person was was to go there? Theres nothing on the news about it, you know that the media has very low credibility. What do you do?
