Busy days yesterday and today, little time for FB...And a huge headache that would nott go away, starting Monday till today...Glad that many of my friends were re-elected yesterday...Kudos to Dawn Zimmer, Angelica Jimenez, Vincent Prieto, Annette Quijano, Nellie Pou...And first time elected Carlos A. Rendo and Jerry Fernandez...Could not attend any victory parties, including the Governors and I now know it was the right choice since I was not feeling like myself...One reason I believe had a lot to do with the drama at The Garden State Plaza, too scary, too close to Home...We can not allow for terror such as this to accur in our soil, this time it was a lone guy...Whould there be a next time??? More people involved??? Just saying... As for Our Governor Elect Chris Christie, congratulations!!! You now have a mandate to finish the job and God willing we will watch you do it...I was honored to have been at your first victory party and on the day you announce your re- election campaign, and even New Jerseyans that do not like your politics know that you care for New Jersey...And most of all, you love our Shores!!! And Union City, thank you for your visit this morning to one of our schools...And then there is Barbara Buono, you set an example to other women, and that means a lot...To my friend Ruben Ramos, I know how you most be feeling, remember I too lost an election, I was so sick the day after, even as I knew I was not going to be the winner......Freeholder 05...Then Cancer, my biggest fight as you know... You are a fighter and a true Hoboken guy, loved by many that know your good heart...You were there and helped us save St. Mary, never missed a Cancer Walk with me or the Juvenile Diabetes Walk...You and I know that Hoboken is a special place and it needs you...Take a deep breath now, there is always tomorrow...Recently I was deeply sad to hear of the passing of Dr. Vanore and then Anna Roberts, wife to Mayor Roberts of Hoboken and I hope that they got to know how many people loved and admired them, may they rest in peace...
