GAYATRI MANTRA is broadcasted everyday for about fifteen minutes on Radio Paramaribo, Surinam, South Africa. Recently,The Hamburg University initiated research into efficacy of the GAYATRI MANTRA both on the mental and physical plane of creation. According to an American Scientist, Dr Howard Steingeril, Hindus’ GAYATRI MANTRA produced 110000 sound waves per second. This was the highest amongst Hymns and innovations from world over. Though the combination of sound or sound waves of a particular frequency is claimed the Mantra is capable of developing specific spiritual potentialities. Let us be proud of our Vedas, Mantras, Culture, Traditions, and Gurus and of course GOD. MANY LANGUAGES. MANY RELIGIONS. ONE INDIA. let us CHANGE INDIA for INDIA OF TOMORROW. Oh God! Thou art the Giver of Life, Remover of Pain and Sorrow, The Bestower of Happiness, Oh! Creator of the Universe, May we receive thy Supreme sin-destroying Light, May Thou guide our intellect in the right direction. Gayatri Mantra (the mother of the Vedas), the foremost mantra in Hinduism and Hindu beliefs, inspires wisdom. Its meaning is that May the Almighty God illuminate our intellect to lead us along the righteous path. Gayatri, the five-faced Goddess, is said to have domain over the five senses or pranas, and protects these five life-forces of those who chant the Gayatri Mantra. Hence the Gayatri is unique in that it embodies the three concepts of stotra (singing the praise and glory of God), dhyaana (meditation) and praarthana (prayer). The mantra is also a prayer to the giver of light and life - the sun (savitur). The Gayatri Mantra invokes the power and radiance of the Sun to energize all earthly life, to destroy our sins and to reveal the Supreme Self to us. Krishna in the Bhagvad Geeta says: Amongst the Mantras, I am the Gayatri - Judge nothing you will be happy Forgive everything you will be happier Love everything you will be happiest May Ma Gayatri shower you with all her blessing
