CORRECT A FRIEND IN ERROR? In spiritual or occult matters, if I - TopicsExpress

CORRECT A FRIEND IN ERROR? In spiritual or occult matters, if I knew better, I would. Socrates, whom the god Apollo proclaimed the wisest man in Greece, thought it worth doing so. All traditional philosophy, too, has a methodology of mutual correction between fellows. So, I fall on that side, too. If I know better, that is, and sometimes I dont. But sometimes I do. If one is lost, and I see the way, I would feel shame if I kept silent. Oh, hell find his own way, eventually! A caveat I try to adhere to, though, is that I will not interfere with someone already entrenched in another tradition, or under the direction of another teacher. Just because it is annoying. Well, my teacher said.... Well, in my tradition, it is said... Not interested. Dont care. Not a sharer. Not a sounding board. Not a validator. Go back to your teacher. Go back to your tradition. But, failing that, I try to be open wide to any person even marginally spiritually or occultly inclined. Every year at this time, I remember the kundalini yogini from my holiday party, about 7 years ago. I didnt know her. She was the friend of a friend, who brought her. I knew upon shaking her hand that she had the Serpent Power. She must have sensed something in me, too, because later on she asked to speak with me privately. Up we went to my daughters room, then painted a dark lilac shade that the paint store called Mighty Aphrodite. Of course. And there she unburdened herself to me. She was having the severe snakebite symptoms -- shaking, mouth foaming, incontinence. My diagnosis: extreme resistance. Why so? She was not worthy of this power. Why not? She was conceived by a act of rape, and her false judgment against herself was entrenched. I healed that woman. That night. In that room. In the presence of the mighty Aphrodite. And I healed her with the truth: Where poison spreads, God will grow a natural antidote. Evil isnt cuddling up to Good, looking to pick a fight, seeking to be thwarted. Evil comes first, and only subsequently does God follow, and harry and worry it into Goodness. But Evil keeps on keeping on. Milton has thArchenemy say that even if God turns his every evil act to good account, he and his minions will never stop doing evil. So, the yogini was not the child of a cursed act, but a true, living, incarnate blessing, whose first step in this world squished a serpents head between her foot and the Earth thereunder. No wonder the thing was cranky. An old grudge, long festering. Thats the truth. I advised her to forget her false pain, to consider her very breathing an act of grace. There was no battle. Her very birth was Gods final, incontrovertible, victorious blow. I have been very privileged to see birth charts of the yogini and people like her. It is true that they often suffer mightily on this earth. Sorry. But God bore you to put your heel print on the Devils forehead, so He will sometimes ask you to absorb blows of misfortune that might kill another, but only flatten you for a bit, if at all. You always get up. Thats the nature of Goodness. Once the person accepts his blessed nature, and any responsibilities attendant thereto, things usually clear up. So it proved with the yogini.
