Cal Ripken Ripken Tournament Update Norton beat The Foxboro 9s 13-8 on Friday night. The Warriors got strong starting pitching from Nicole Theriault, but the Norton bats went to work during the middle innings. Foxboro got some big hits from Channing Bryant, Matthew Todd, Dylan Gordon, Ashton Block, Liam Mulkern, Eric Kiristenson and Matthew Orphanos. Danny Brady made some great plays at short stop, especially a great sliding catch in the 5th inning to keep the Warriors within striking distance. Channing Bryant made a great catch in left field to end the 6th. Mulkern provided 4 strong innings behind home plate and made some great plays at 1st base. Cam Barreira played very well in center field. Barreira won the award for defensive player of the game. Brady got the Hustle award, and Gordon was the offensive player of the game.
