Can you truly care about something you see as a production unit? Something that you have give birth just so you can take the milk that was intended for her calf to give to people? Can you truly care about something you eventually ship off to be killed for her meat? Agriculture wants us to believe it is all good, natural and necessary. Although there may not be any physical abuse on many dairy farms, and the cows may even be kept in respectable conditions, it is always the case that babies are stolen from their mothers and all are eventually killed for the profit of this caring farmer.
