Carol Lynn Levy Aksdal You asked how Isaac was doing. I just got this update from Juliana Wooley Juliana Wooley 12 mins · Valley Center, CA · I wanted to give an update on little Isaac. He is growing well, and yesterday his weight was 2 pounds, 4 ounces. Thats 2 ounces over his birthweight! He has been moved off of and onto different breathing apparatuses from day to day due to his getting tired and not having the energy to breathe, but hes never been intubated again, and he is breathing room air. There has been no need for oxygen, just help moving his lungs. He likes the pacifier and would love to continue using it, but when he does, he forgets to breathe, so hes been banned from the pacifier for now. He is growing and gaining and we are all really relieved and happy. It will take time to know if he has come through this unscathed. We already know his little arms need therapy, but if thats his biggest concern, thats nothing. Time will tell if theres anything other delays or disabilities. I would like to ask all of you to keep one of Isaacs cribmates in prayer. This little guy was born at 22 weeks, and is one of a set of twins. They are both in serious condition and cannot even be with one another at this point. They have suffered through repeated surgery, and the one next to Isaac will be going into surgery again tomorrow. I cant really say much more, but suffice it to say, they are in great need of healing. Thank you.
