Castillo Fuerte Casa de Misericordia (Mighty Fortress Mercy House) is the mercy arm of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synods mission in Lima, Peru. Our mission is to serve the community, showing them the love of Christ by caring for both the body and soul. In La Victoria our mercy house works in a slum near the large market of Gamarrah. This is a dangerous neighborhood with a lot of need. We seek to support the families and school systems in this community to raise children who know the Lord and are successful, productive members of society.
