#CelebrityGossip! Elton John is among the stars providing the soundtrack to this New Years Eve celebration. The veteran star is among the many performers wholl be featured on the 2015 edition of Dick Clarks New Years Rockin Eve. Elton will make a remote appearance from his concert in Brooklyn, New York, performing Im Still Standing for the TV audience. The multi-part ABC special, which begins at 8:00 p.m. Eastern, will also feature Taylor Swift, Train, Idina Menzel, and others. Rob Thomas is on the mend after a kitchen mishap sent him to the hospital. The Matchbox Twenty frontman took to Twitter Tuesday to show fans the bit of finger he cut off while making breakfast. Thomas kept followers updated as he got bandaged up. He says all is well now, but admits he still feels like an idiot. He also joked that Tuesdays song of the day should be Fingertips by Stevie Wonder. The world is getting its first look at the trailer for the upcoming N.W.A. biopic, Straight Outta Compton. Ice Cube unveiled the trailer at a recent concert in Sydney, Australia and the clip was posted to YouTube by a fan. Among the scenes included in the preview is one featuring Ruthless Records co-founder Jerry Heller, played by Paul Giamatti, asking OShea Jackson Jr.s Ice Cube about the meaning of N.W.A. The teaser is appropriately backed by the N.W.A. song that lends its name to the film. Apart from Ice Cubes own son, the film also stars Jason Mitchell as Eazy-E, Corey Hawkins as Dr. Dre and Aldis Hodge as MC Ren.
