We empower disadvantaged communities in rural and mountainous areas to manage sustainably their own livelihood systems, regardless of ethnic groups, gender or religious belief. SRD currently focuses on Sustainable Agriculture, Rural Livelihoods, Climate Change, Local Governance and Pro-Poor Policy Advocacy. We are currently looking for a qualified candidate to fill the position of Accountant, based in Hanoi with frequent travels to the project sites. SRD offers good opportunities for working, learning and sharing within the dynamic Team of SRD. Overall Responsibilities: 1. Prepare and process daily payment to cash/bank 2. Manage and keep accounting records 3. Allocate monthly fuel, stationery cost to projects 4. Make internal entries (Journal Vouchers of PIT and Fixed Assets, bank reconcilation). 5. Manage and control fixed assets and conduct the annual inventory of fixed assets. 6. Check budget of organization as well as of projects; 7. Maintain and manage financial data bases, computer software systems and manual filing systems 8. Check vouchers/ receipts/procedures, quarterly/annually financial reports of project partners 9. Perform other related tasks as required. Qualification required: • Bachelor degree in Accounting major; • Good in both English and Vietnamese; • High attention to details and accuracy • Good analytical and organizational skills; • Creative & teamwork; • Good computer skills especially Excel, Words, PowerPoint, Accounting Software; • At least three years working experience at the same position; • Previous experience of working for a non-government organization (NGO) will be an advantage. Remuneration: Net income would be from US$350-500/month per month depending on qualifications and competitiveness.
