Chapter Nine Who will rule over the world? DANIEL riveting prophecy now takes us back to us in the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon. Daniel has long been captive in Babylon, but for the integrity of the Lord never wavered. Now, more than seventy years of a faithful prophet dreamed. . . Sait head and saw her in her bed. And how these visions scare him! (Daniel 7:1, 15). 2 Behold - Daniel exclaims - the four winds of heaven strove upon the great sea; and four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another. But what extraordinary animals! The first is a winged lion, the second like a bear. Then follows a leopard with four wings and four heads.
