Fudge was a chocolate lab and was with us until he passed suddenly 4 years later. I have always been a dog person and I was feeling a terrible void after Fudge passed and 6 months later I started surfing the net looking for A dog that I felt was good enough to replace our Fudgie Poo. My husband mentioned that he liked the looks of Weimaraners and I decided to look at the rescue sites. I found Cruz and his sister Josie listed by their owner who was in the middle of a divorce. He lived in South Carolina, 9 miles from the western Georgia state line and we lived on the east coast of North Carolina. We drove to South Carolina and found Cruz to be 6 years old and absolutely gorgeous. We took him home immediately.
