Christ never spoke of His right to Himself, but always maintained - TopicsExpress

Christ never spoke of His right to Himself, but always maintained an inner vigilance to submit His Spirit continually to His Father. I also have a responsibility to keep my spirit in agreement with His Spirit. And when I do, Jesus gradually lifts me up to the level where He lived - the level of perfect submission to His Fathers will – where I pay no attention to anything else. -Oswald Chambers (thank you Wayne Hill) loving this devotional book Sunday during worship at church, I had a really cool experience. You know how we can imagine seeing ourselves from above, as if our consciousness is outside of our body and we are looking down at ourself? Well during worship I had that experience and my consciousness was next to Jesus with Him and we were looking down on my body together. As we were watching my body worship, Jesus whispered to my consciousness: Let me show you what I can do with you! Perhaps my consciousness was my spirit in this case. This was a really cool experience for me (stuff like this doesnt happen to me very often). This all happened before I heard the message at church, and then the message was about being used by God to do great things. Later in that same day, my good friend Cameron Buffalo Phillips text me to hold me accountable to the ministry I feel God is calling me to. (Thanks Cameron youre an awesome friend). The next day (yesterday) I met with my mentor and we talked about that vision for the ministry I feel called to and God started planting ideas in my head for it. (Thank you Jim Philhower and Tammy Pierce Philhower) Then today I read in my devotional book and what I wrote about at the beginning of this text (in quotes) was taken right out of the book. God is definitely showing me that I MUST consider myself as not belonging to me. What are the desires of my flesh but a distraction from God taking over in my life? Please pray for me that God will bless me and show me how to truly surrender my life to Him, that every desire of mine would be His will, His direction, His purpose. Thank you
