Comingtree plantation house in Cordesville, South Carolina on the Cooper River in Berkeley county was a gorgeous Greek Revival plantation house built between 1845-48 and was not taken the best care of as it sat abandoned for decades and sadly was struck by lightening in a storm and burned to the ground sadly the ghostly brick and concreted over walls remain as a ghostly haunting reminder of the grand old southern belle that stood here so proudly through a civil war and times of good and bad and want and plenty to burn down in a few minutes in a fire after sitting unloved and untouched by caring hands for decades.
