Communications technology gave mankind awareness of world affairs and atrocities. In the early 40s Filipinos thought the Japanese invasion was just another page, like the Spanish and american chapters in its history. Sound minds may take todays world situation as a continuation of a then grand design of universal proportion which no living and existing entity can change. But, us humans, frail as we are...feel pain. And pain gave us the wisdom of finding why? Why were we made to suffer? Why did the one who love us forsaken us ? Were we blinded or fooled ? Or are we just dreamers who refuse to wake up.
