Community from History According to ethnic, social and cultural history of Sindh it is well observed that “Burira Tribe” is one of the oldest tribe of the region and also Burira dwell in majority in the different parts of Sindh, Eastern Baluchistan and Southern Punjab too. Looking the facts in the history it is well believed that Burira are one of the oldest tribes of Sindh, the proof is visible in typography of the word “Burira” in Sindhi “ٻرڙا” there are two letters such as “ٻ” and “ڙ” which are purely Sindhi alphabetic letters. The word Burira come from “Buriro” the fore-ancestor of the tribe became the tribal name of his forth coming generations. In the older times “Borira’e Kot” (Now a day it is archeological spot near Jhudo), “Burira Pahar” in Gujrat, Borira’e in district dadu, Uthal and Windur (Lassbelo) there were huge amount of the tribe was living with the integrity and peace. That is a vital proof that Burira tribe had not involved in any sort of riots but they were busying in cultivation of the land and spread the message of peace through their living style. Today there are enormous “Dehs” (a small cluster of district administration) are existing in the different districts of Sindh. Due to political, social and disturbance of economy, Burira tribe migrated to the different areas of the country like Punjab, Baluchistan and internationally to India (especially in the areas of Kachh, Marooara, Jaislamir and Gujrat), Saudi Arab and Bangladesh. In Sindh Burira tribe is living in Districts Jacobabad, Shikarpur, Sukkur, Khairpur, Dadu, Benazir Abad, Nousharo Feroz and Sanghar in peace and prosperity. In the social, cultural history of the Sindh, Buriro tribe has been working along with the other communities in different sectors of the life like agriculture, livestock, public sector and corporate business for the betterment of the country. They are very much enriched with the hospitability as the Sindhi’s culture and typical patriot minded. It is noticed during survey that as comparison to the population Burira were not seemed most educated but living in the remote areas of the Sindh, today there is bulk amount of engineers, doctors, advocates, teachers, poets and different sectors of the daily life.
