Even my parents, who are both traditionally right-wing in their beliefs exclaimed in disbelief at the announcement of a FIFTEEN DOLLAR co-payment for Medicare, and found a distinct irony in the flagging of an attempt to introduce a deficit tax. Where did your mandate for a Medicare co-payment come from, or a deficit tax, Mr Abbott? The electorate never voted for these things, how can you feel you have a right to introduce them. Everyone at one time or another utters the phrase We employ the government, they should not forget that.
